Tamarac rental fieldnotes

After delivery: keep the rental team in the loop

Changes are easier to review when the team has a clear description of the equipment, location and issue. Use the contact details for this business rather than making an unconfirmed change on site.

For a service or supply concern

Give the address, equipment position and what you have noticed. Include when the issue began and whether access is currently available. Ask for the next agreed step; do not assume a website message guarantees an immediate visit. Keep damaged or unsafe equipment out of use and follow the provider’s instructions.

For a moved entrance or blocked position

Explain what has changed and when the original route will become unavailable. Contact the team before repositioning a cabin or trailer. Moving equipment, altering connections or attempting repairs yourself can create a different problem from the one you intended to solve.

For extra time or a different setup

Request an extension, additional units or a revised service arrangement as soon as the need is known. Describe changes in users or working hours. Ask for confirmation of availability and any revised terms; the initial booking does not automatically reserve extra equipment or unlimited time.

For pickup and closeout

Request collection explicitly and identify the person who can provide access. Keep the equipment reachable until collection occurs. If nobody will be present, agree the arrangement beforehand. Questions about charges, cancellations or a final invoice should be reviewed against the actual accepted proposal.

Bring the details. Ask the questions.

Let’s make the next step a clear one.

Discuss the property, the people and the period of use.
The equipment arrangement follows from there.
