Explain entry requirements early
Tell the team about check-in procedures, escorted access, restricted working hours and who coordinates visitors. Share operational instructions through the appropriate private channel, not public page links. The provider must confirm whether it can meet the site’s requirements; a quote enquiry is not acceptance of a safety or access procedure.
Describe shifts and temporary outages
Include overlapping shifts, contractors and any period when permanent restrooms are offline. Explain whether users occupy separate work areas and whether a single equipment group is practical. Review quantity and servicing against the busiest realistic use, not just an average headcount.
Keep equipment clear of operational hazards
Have the site’s responsible person identify an appropriate location and route. Do not place portable facilities in hazardous or restricted areas based on generic website advice. Confirm the offered equipment and any special requirements with the provider and the site’s safety team.
Coordinate service as an approved visit
Recurring service may require the same access arrangements as the initial delivery. Assign a contact who can resolve a gate or escort issue, and report changes in operations before they affect a visit. Keep collection on the work plan when the temporary need ends.
